These reusable warm cushions have been developed
by sportsmen, coaches, physiotherapists and sport therapists. Due to their
ability to produce warmth without the help of external energy sources, they
can be applied to a wide range circumstances.
Warm Up® heating
pads are available in a variety of different sizes (see list of articles)
and for a whole range of different applications. They can be used as hand,
glove and foot warmer in the cold season, they relieve pain and assist in
treating (e.g. physiotherapy and heat therapy) sore muscles, chronic
illnesses of the locomotor system, contusions, joint problems, rheumatism,
abdominal complaints, colds and general indisposition in the form of back,
neck and body warmer (modern hot-water bottle).
They are also suitable as
all-round heating pads. Any possible applications of the products have been
discussed with medical doctors, masseurs and therapists and there are
numerous references in literature recommending the application of heat
products in the corresponding fields!
e.g. for warming-up on cold days, before
or after sports, at leisure or at work.
Great after or during a cold day on the hills.
The Warmup
Instant Heat Cushion provides portable and reusable heat without batteries
or a power source, giving you the benefit of comfortable warmth where and
whenever you need it.

products are medical CE approved,

The use of the product
is only recommended whilst it is warming.
Easy to use, just click
a button and within a few seconds this amazing device can reach temperatures
of up to 50C~55C.
With correct use the Warmup cushion should last hundreds of times,
practically limitless. The cushion will not operate if there is a hole in
the vinyl.
The heating duration of the
pad depends on the size, starting temperature and ambient temperature.
Once activated, the Warmup cushion will
increase to a temperature of 54 C and will remain at this temperature until
all the liquid crystallizes. Liquid molecules that were not required to heat
the pad to its maximum temperature will remain liquid, and crystallize as
required, to maintain the maximum temperature. This means that a pad that is
warm, for instance one carried inside a rucksack rather than in an outer
pocket, will maintain its maximum temperature longer than one that is cold.
The better the insulation
around the pad and the quicker it is applied the longer the heat duration.
For example a hand warmer will last longer when placed inside a pocket or
glove than if held in the hand outdoors in a cold wind. The larger packs
with a higher mass will last longer than the smaller ones.
We also have Warmup packs
with double chambers, this allows you to activate either the two chambers at
the same time or one following the other thus prolonging the heat duration.
Generally the heat pack
will heat up within five seconds of activation and stay very hot for around
thirty minutes and then start to gradually cool down. However in our tests
and feedback, for guidance, we have been able to draw up the following time
periods for maximum heating durations.

To get
the best performance from your Warmup cushion:
-
Once the clicker has
activated the pack and it gets hot, ensure you knead the pack well to
get it soft and flexible. This will bring the pack to its maximum heat
making the heat last longer.
-
Keep the cold air away from
the pack. For example put it inside your glove or pocket, instead of
just in your hand.
-
Insulate the pack, using
insulated pouch, covers, etc.
